Fire safety certificate in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan.
One of the most commonly required certificates from manufacturers or exporters is Fire Safety Certificate. The certificate confirms the conformity of manufacturing or services to an approved fire safety rules existing in the Customs Union Russia, Kazakhstan or Belarus.
Fire safety certificate is required to be obtained when a construction certificate is needed. Not all of the products are subject to compulsory certification in the field of fire safety. Same rules, the Rules of fire safety in Russia, apply to the exported products, native and imported when receiving the Fire Safety Certificate.
Fire Safety Certificate can be mandatory or voluntary, but lack of it will prevent customs. Certification applies only to certain groups of goods (cables, carpets, fridges and freezers, floor coverings, fire-fighting equipment, finishing materials, building structures, electrical equipment and heat generating appliances).
Fire Certificate is issued for a term of one to five years, depending on the specifics of the production and contract. There also is a Fire Safety Declaration. In practice this document does not differ in any way from Fire Safety Certificate, except the form it is issued on and responsibilities of the parties.
The certificate is issued on the basis of the test protocol. Without such protocol the certificate is invalid. During the test flammability of the product is verified and each group of the production must have a separate certificate. Testing system depends on the particular group of production, on the operating environment, on the method it is operated etc. When it comes to Fire Safety Declaration, such a document can be prepared by the developer or manufacturer.
